General Information

  • The fee structures are provisional and subject to change any time

  • Fees-paid challan should be enclosed with the application for admission

  • Payment of the prescribed fees should be made on or before the last date without which the application will not be accepted, and the last date will not be extended for any reason

  • Tuition Fee, Registration Fee, Eligibility Fee, etc. should be paid only on receipt of the (provisional) intimation of admission and not along with the application

  • Examination Fee should not be paid with Tuition Fee

  • Candidates from Karnataka need not pay Eligibility Fee

  • Tuition Fee, Registration Fee, Eligibility Fee, Campus School Fee and other fees must be remitted to KSOU- 08-General Fund Account, at State Bank of Mysore or State Bank of India or any subsidiary of the State Bank of India (any branch in India) through the prescribed quadruplicate challan which is attached to the prospectus

  • Examination fees must be remitted to KSOU-09-Examination Fund Account as specified above. Examination application forms and admission ticket are available in the prospectus

  • Bank Drafts, Money Orders, Postal Orders, Cash or any other mode of payment will not be accepted and the university will not be responsible for any loss due to wrong payments

  • Students must carefully preserve the Student Copy of the challan for all the payments made to the university, as it is the only valid document in proof of payment. The challan will have to be produced at the time of obtaining the examination admission ticket, marks card and other important documents from the university

  • Students with shortage of attendance at the contact programmes must pay a Contact Programme Fee of Rs.500 and attend the contact programme afresh during the subsequent year

  • Students belonging to SC/ST should also pay tuition and other fees, but the unemployed among them from the state of Karnataka will get their tuition fees and examination fees refunded, if they submit an application to this effect to the university, within 30 days of their payment of the fees. The university will send a list of all such candidates to the Social Welfare Department offices of the respective districts from where the reimbursement claim has to be made by the candidates themselves

  • Fees paid will not be refunded for any reason

CAUTION

The University has NOT authorised any Tutorial/Correspondence College/privates agency or any "AGENT" to work on its behalf and therefore takes no responsibility for the Prospectus/Application issued, fees collected and promises made by them. Candidates are, therefore, advised to deal directly with the University or its Study Centres only.
