• The university Examinations for the programme are held only once in a year: May and June.

• The Examination Centres are Mysore and Bangalore.

• The evaluation of each course of the programme is divided into 2 parts:
   
       - University Examination at the end of the academic year for 75 marks in each
         Paper/Course and
   
       - Internal Assessment for 25 marks in each Paper/Course.

• Duration of the University Examination is 3 hours.

• Candidates should complete their Internal Assessment Programme in the year of admission only.

• Candidates should appear for all Courses/Papers prescribed for the year.

• Candidates will have to complete the programme within 6 years from the date of their admission.

• Candidates should appear for a viva voce Examination for 50 marks, along with the III year Examination.

• Candidates are exempted from reappearance in Courses/Papers where they have secured 40% marks, subject to a minimum score of 30 % marks in the University Examination.

• Candidate should secure 30 % marks minimum in each theory course.

• Classification of results:
   
       - FIRST CLASS with DISTINCTION: 75% and above
   
       - FIRST CLASS: 60% and above but below 75%
   
       - SECOND CLASS: 50% and above but below 60%
   
       - THIRD CLASS: 40% and above but below 50%
     
       - PASS CLASS: Pass in the papers/courses in more than 1 attempt
